Has anyone noticed that Richard Bacon is now hosting 3 programmes?

He's doing 19 keys on Five,
All New TOTP on Three on BBC3,
and the channel hopping show on nation277.

Seems like someone's decided to forgive him for smoking cannabis, but 3 shows at once... too much?

Wasn't it cocaine he was sacked for taking?

Afterall, cocaine IS the drug of the media luvvie.

He recorded 19 Keys whilst doing nothing else, so he isn't effectively doing that at the same time as others. He appears, but that's up to five to show it, and when they show it.

As for TOTP on 3, it was a one off, and its a shame it was a one off, just as its a shame that the hour long version of TOTP was a one off, as both shows were excellent in their hourly formats. Richard & Margherita made the BBC THREE show better because there were two of them who have much experience.

Not forgetting he presents Drivetime on Fridays and a Sunday afternoon show on London's XFM.

Plus . . . "Get Staffed" on BBC THREE . . .

He's as annoying as Davina, if not more. He's a terrible presenter

Got to say i disagree- Bacon is one of my faves- his dry wit is fantastic

Ditto, he made the last few weeks of The Big Breakfast fantastic.

I am a bit of a Bacon fan at times - it's clear he has a talent. And well done BBC for making TOTP3 a regular fixture - they can have the main TOTP for chart hits and TOTP3 for news/features, new music, alternative hits etc. TOTP3 sits happily alongside ANTOTP, TOTP2 and TOTPSat.

Oddly enough, MTV are launching a : rival : show to TOTP3 called TOTP Backstage or something - it starts on the 19th at 8pm. Strange how MTV are acknoledging that another channel has a good programme and saying exactly when it's on... I thought the cross-channel advertising agreement thing frowned on that?

It's to do wtih Tim Kash also being an MTV presenter...
