The IPP's have also got a new look (smaller being the only good point)

Yep, have they ever been used during the credits before? Beats a full ECP I suppose.

Much closer to the design of BBC NI's IPPs.

These are much, much better. And as Chris said earlier I wish they kept the picture of the ident for the background.

Much better mdta, but we can't have the actual credits dominating the credits can we!

For what it's worth, a mock I did at the time the last lot launched:

I love the BBC One banner in the middle, very classy.

As mentioned, these are rubbish with 4:3 programmes as today's Diagnosis Murder proved. Rolling Eyes

The most annoying thing is that the BBC still have the credit rules in place so we can't go back to having jokes or funny scenes played over the credits. BOO!!

so how would they finish My Family, which ends on a funny, extra scene with the credits scroling sideways

as said why can't we have the credits dominating the credits, as that is the whole point of the exercise rather than programme promotion

Hole In The Wall has static end credits, which could be a problem.

I think Hole In The Wall is the problem. Let's face it, if you were involved in that programme, would you really want to be credited?

'Coming Next' banner appeared on BBC 4 last night I'm told.

Oh well, the up marketness of BBC4 has another nail in its coffin.

BBC4 is long overdue a revamp as well, but I never thought they'd use the 'coming next' banner.

Weren't the BBC going to tweak DOG's as well?

The BBC HD DOG is now turned off for drama programmes, and is fainter than it was on all the remaining programmes.
