I'm sorry you feel the information given is false, I also think it is fairly obvious how I got my information.

1. Sky World News has been droped because world news will be playing a major part of Sky's coverage as always so a seperate programme is not needed.

2. Mike Wilson will be doing a 16 hour shift for two days a week he will share it with Juliet Foster.

3. Re: the spelling of presenters names I think that people shouldn't be so sad to actually worry about such minor details.

4. Allan King isn't just a weekend presenter if you watch any of our output you would know that.

Hope this helps, all I can say is watch tomorrow at six am - there will be no re-launch! But you can believe what you want. We won't be coming back to the forum.

Ok, I understand some of the members here may be a little suspicious but why? This person is being very kind in willing to open the floor to answering your questions where possible, along with the initial thread so benefit of the doubt please people!

I'm very sorry if the accusations I made are wrong, but you have to accept that for someone to come and register on the forum and just wave a bunch of facts under our noses, after months of not having a clue what's happening, is quite a shock.

You obviously work for Sky, as the use of the word 'our' appears in your last post - you I was 'sad' enough to notice that.

I've never noticed King playing a major role in Sky's output, of late.
He is a regular World News presenter and from what I have seen now appears to be penned into the weekend afternoon slot, with Foster.
I was dubious about the idea of World News being dropped because a Sky News director did tell us that World News would remain.
Obviously things are subject to change.

Please, if you do have anymore information then feel free to post it here, it will be appreciated. But after months of hearing absolutely nothing about this relaunch, someone wandering in and giving us almost every detail about it obviously comes as a little bit of a shock!

Thank you Asa, all I can say is that we should just sit back and look foraward to the end of september, once again Sky will be leading the way in television news.
