Reminds me of the days at primary school messing around with a BBC Micro.

Just what I was going to say, in fact it's not a million miles away from the logo of one of the more obscure early Spectrum software houses. Lovely shade of magenta as well Laughing

I wonder how long they've had this re-branding since the recently-renamed LCN on Freeview bares the name Film Four ...

Can't stand the logo; I thought the same of More4 and now think it's one of the best on-air identities, but I can't see what can be done with this logo...

Considering it's all straight lines, probably almost anything.

The logo reminds me of that three minute wotsit they have on sometimes. I can't see it being anything less than great, it's Channel 4.

Sorry to be a div. I presume this refers to the channel name, but what does LCN stand for?

putting the film4 logo together with the others, it does fit in, but I still need convincing.

I had a horrible feeling they'd give FilmFour a revamp. The current look is one of the best on TV, such a shame they're losing it, I hope the new look is as good as we're expecting from them.

Except for the fact that this is, it would seem, the first time they've deviated from the shape of '4' typified by their beloved, iconic main channel logo, which is why I'm wondering whether this is definitely the new logo. I've personally not seen it from a reputable source, merely Digital Spy, but I may very well have missed it.

Also noticeable that the filmed promos used 'Film Four':

Lest we forget, there was a horrible logo kicking around apparently for ITV4 (ugly boxy thing, not unlike this Film4 one) when news of that first appeared. Alas, the official one was completely different.

Oh and it *will* be Film4, that much has been confirmed by the Channel 4 sales website. Sounds to me like a last minute thing however if the adverts say FilmFour, as you point out.

that logo is from the press office, so it isnt just a marketing presentation mock up.
