The idents are nice enough - but not sure about how the logo is used generally in it's lined boxed form.

What I really liked was a brief clip of some film bloke being interviewed on a white background, with the large logo then appearing on it in red to reveal the logo in a red square. Looked much better.

Liked the C4 style timeline menu also.

I think those idents are great - grand, dramatic and most importantly cinematic. You're left in no doubt you're watching a film channel. Any channel could slap a logo on a talking head sequence.

I notice Sky movies has cheekily made an ad promoting the fact they haven't spent money on getting celebs to promote their channel "No expensive advertising, no ads during the film. Sky Movies."

It shows a scene like that of the Film Four one with "Ad free films" written on a sign.

Nope, it's an expensive subscription instead.

Just a little thing - but it's annoying me considering all the effort they've gone to with the rebrand - the website address is still promoted as filmfour.com. I'd have expected them to switch to channel4.com/film4 in line with the other channels - though they haven't even activated that link!
