At the moment, this morning are showing a thing about anglia. There's been a clip with two anglia idents and an ITV50 logo with years going by aswell. Hopefully there'll be local idents like that! Anyway,do you think they'll do that for any more regions?
Yes, This Morning Is visiting various regions accross the country this summer and Becky is Inviewing various local Celebs from particular regions - i.e. Fred Talbot The Weatherman in Blackpool last week in the Granada region - All to celebrate 50 years of ITV.
As nice a feature it is for TV Forum-esque oddballs, it did get me wondering the other week... how many of the target audience are really THAT interested in the history of Central South? I was rather confused during that particular item, I must say.

So when did they start?
Last Monday, when This Morning turned into the Big Breakfast.
It was HTV West today.Did they do any before Granada and Anglia?
Yes Richard Lyddon presented the HTV West 'edition' with Beckie Mantin interviewing him and then showing a great montage of classic HTV idents.....it shows TWW, HARLECH,
htv
and the blue HTV logos all in animation.
I have been quite impressed with the This Morning's coverage of ITV's 50th Birthday and would hope to see all their items, especially the daytime tv segment featuring all the classic daytime programmes of the past, on the official ITV50 DVD release.
It would be very poor of ITV just to release the Melvyn Bragg five programmes as a DVD. It would be great for the This Morning items, along with 10 minutes from each region to also be included on the DVD as extras!
Perhaps worth mentioning that the idents aren't shown in full and form part of a relativily short title sequence. The features themselves are pretty disapointing and seem a little pointless to me.
Must have been the most viewers Richard Lydon has ever broadcast to as well
Great Yarmouth on Friday, so that'll be Anglia again.
