Regional Weather

You missed LWT!

That's not a problem, seeing as it's the same as national ITV weather!

Carlton London's is just the old national graphics too.

Well for those of you not living in the North West here is a selection of Granada's recently revamped weather presentation.

I think I preferred the previous Granada Weather graphics.

Oh God, it's on now and they've dropped the sponsor and gone back to the dogdy cheap looking intro with scenes from the region and scary music. Aaaaargh!

heres central's latest map/graphics (map shown is for Central West) - whick i think are rather nice - better than ITV national weather, certainly better than granada's. shame about the carlton star in the top-left though.

and heres the weather's titles - MUCH better than the previous attempts - nice music too ... anyone remember when alot of regional weather was sponsored by legal and general, with that kite?

The HTV Wales/West weather maps are virtually identical to Carltons but with the HTV Logo and not that bloody star!

As you can see, it looks like the Granada weather, I wonder why!

Two years ago I would have voted for Anglia, but since they sacked forcasters & a wEATHER department (who coujld have caried on if the autocue broke down) for wheather bimbos (sorry 'presenters' ) NO WAY...... bring back JIM BACON.
Who would have thought a tart with a toung ring Becky Jago, (yes regional anglia prog, (( not with merdian)) or charlie neal presenting Anglia Weather Week...................

i happen to think charlie niel is rather good - and the other girls at WSI in Birmingham. they do the weather very well - its always accurate - there not boring like bbc midlands - and they do it in a proffesional, but friendly way - bit like in-vision continuity used to be
