Regional Weather

WHICH REGION'S IS THE BEST? I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT PRESENTERS, I MEAN THE GRAPHICS USED AND WHETHER OR NOT THE WEATHER BULLETINS ARE ADEQUATE.

No, I haven't got it in for you at all. It's just a bit annoying to get shouted at. You obviously enjoy asking questions.

I wasn't aware you had a thing about Jon Mitchell too!:

How on earth can we compare each regional ITV weather graphics, without travelling the whole of England.

OK, then thanks!

Border Weather has to be the worst on ITV, for several reasons:

1. It's not in-vision

2. It's always presented from some village they saw on their travels (why???)

3. For some reason, they think they can give a general weather forecast (e.g. 'rain and sunny spells') for the whole of Southern Scotland, Cumbria and the Isle of Man, when it is obvious that there are often massive differences in weather even between Gretna and Carlisle, for example.

4. The weather map is a horrible colour.

5. The symbols never move position (and never change) - the map behind them just moves.

6. The weather is nowhere near in-depth enough.


Also, something else about Border News - they seem to want to remove all branding from their GMTV bulletins - just calling it 'NEWS' and 'WEATHER' instead of 'BORDER NEWS' and 'BORDER WEATHER'........strange.
