Yeah Granada, still coming from Quay Street, but I think they move in about 3 weeks?
That soon - makes the recent complete overhaul (yeah, right!) of the news studio even more pointless - and I'm not holding out any hope that the new MediaCity studio will be a brand new London Tonight style set. Indeed they've probably already taken a set from one of the old duel regions and installed it there.
HTV West have been based at the Bath Road studios in Brislington in Bristol for all of their life and was originally the home of TWW. I think the new part of the complex had simply been extended on to the old building sometime in the 70's I think?
I don't think any other building has been used to the best of my knowledge.
Therefore the West region has the rare accolation of both the BBC and ITV still broadcasting from their original studios, albeit with new parts added on.
BBC Bristol has been in the same location for all of its existance AFAIK with the original buildings at the corner of Whiteladies and Tyndall's Park Roads still being labelled "Broadcasting House". What is now Point's West's TV studio was originally an orchestral Radio Studio (known as No.1 Studio) which became Television Studio-A in the late 50s. A few overhauls and upgrades later, it closed in 1991 to network productions and remained mothballed until it was redeveloped and split up in 1995/6.
This wall of the studio actually looks much the same as this now, even though the ceiling height was improved (in the 80s I think) and motorised lighting and scenery hoists were added.
When BBC Birmingham started in 1927 they were based on Broad Street, with offices at Wood Norton, they stayed until the war, post war they moved back offering regional TV instead with small studios above the Austin Motor Company showroom on Broad Street, and network/drama production based at Gosta Green (in a cinema) until 1970 - Radio moved to the newly constructed Pebble Mill, the first of many BBC Network Production Centres that housed all output, TV moved over in 1971 with the complex officially opened by HRH The Princess Anne, where it stayed until 2004! Then they moved to the Shoebox, with a further move on the cards it seems!

Where's the current favourite?
Last time this was mentioned, wasn't Fort Dunlop mentioned?
ITV Wales are looking to move out of their ridiculously oversized studio complex by September.
When HTV was sold by UNM in 2000, Culverhouse Cross wasn't included in the sale and HTV simply rented it. Bizarrely, ITV bought the complex back a few years later, even though it seemed pretty obvious that staying there wasn't going to be cost effective.
There are 3 proposed sites, two of which are in Cardiff Bay and one in Cardiff Gate. I'd prefer Cardiff Bay as it's closer to all the action in Cardiff, and it would be nice to have a broadcasting outlet in central Cardiff for once. Cardiff Gate is on the outskirts of Cardiff just like Culverhouse Cross.
I guess, strictly speaking, Carlton (who are still the weekday London licensee) are still in their original home.
I think it's highly unlikely that Carlton's London office is still open (on the Ofcom website, the address for the London Weekday franchise is listed as London Television Centre). I expect that would have been closed down a long time ago, following the merger with Granada. They did actually have several offices in London at one point, which included subsidiary companies, as shown on this page:
Yep, Carlton's HQ in Knightsbridge is still there, but they (or ITV) are no longer a tennant. The only indication of it's past occupier are the two number '25's outside which are in Carlton's font
