In Scotland, as a mark of respect, Reporting Scotland have not been playing their titles music. I stress there is no problem with this I was just wondering If this is the same across all the regions. I am quite surprised that the National News and News24 are using their titles and music.
Also there has been quite long periods of blackness after certain programmes is this also the same across the country.
My thoughts are with all the families who lost a loved one in yesterdays attacks.
On Look North tonight we got a normal balloon, full titles, and even a slight hint of banter at the end.
Today's Lunchtime Look North and 'The Peter Levy Show' (on Radio Leeds) were notable for the lack of banter.
Serious 'Now the weather heres Paul Hudson' and 'Thanks Peter' etc, this shows how serious todays news really is.

The 'banter' on Look North was just a lighter moment about the returning of the Cricket Championship Trophey to Yorkshire after so long. A bit of a break was needed from the sombre mood and I think it was played out well in the studio.

central news west had no music/titles on the day of the attack - though theyve creeped back in in the days since - no banter - but thats been the case since bob was isolated in that studio with only a coffee table and a copy of the evening mail for company.
on friday late bulletin there was 2 presenters - for some unknown reason?
