So, will we get regional continuity until BBC News starts then?
Edit: Westy2, maybe you can change the title and subtitle of this thread to something more generic so that it can be about regional schedule changes in general as there seem to be a few around recently. It would be good if a mod could move this in to the main forum too as it is not news related.

I'll have a go(never done that!).
In the meantime, I've flagged up the problem on MT's Facebook!

Looks lilke BBC One West Midlands kept their regional continuity complete with "in a change to some listings" until about 01:35 last night when they joined network. It looks like they dropped 'Britain's Empty Homes' which was billed on network as "an addition to the schedule". Holby City was at shown at 01:35 which was "a little later than planned" on both network and BBC One West Midlands.
Was Britain's Best Homes shown on network just for the benefit of BBC One West Midlands?
Every programme before BBC One West Midlands rejoined network had the credits played out without being shrunk or spoken over so BBC West Midlands must have had local copies and were not just showing network on a delay.
So, another regional programme at 19:30 tonight. A programme about weather where each region (and nation) are showing their own version. Shouldn't be as messy as last night. BBC One Scotland have dropped The One Show for extended news tonight though.

The Sky EPG now has the schedule as you describe too but earlier it had Reporting Scotland on for an hour and no The One Show. I assume it was a mistake then.
BBC website shows Reporting Scotland, The One Show and Saints and Scroungers between 6.30 and 8pm tonight on BBC1 Scotland
Why would Scotland need an extended news today anyway?

I guess they might have been provided with a feed of the clean feed which the nations use to record the programmes from?

Either that or it was the most drop-able. There has to be a networked programme scheduled on the network which is the same length as the local one, hence sometimes there are odd programmes repeated.
Yep I suspect they just sent them up on tapes dubbed from the masters. I know that's been done before for regions doing a timeshift. It's a bit more reliable than recording everything and broadcasting it half hour later - the programme, trails and pre-recorded continuity can all be lined up in the automation system and the timings fixed.
That's not always possible though, the late night weather being a good example

This programme is getting a national showing on BBC2 at the moment, something of a rarity for regional programmes not from a Network Production Centre. Wonder whether it will have had the end cap changed to BBC English Regions as Helicopter Heroes has or if it will keep the Yorkshire credit.
Yorkshire, Yorkshire & Lincolnshire & East Midlands - Dambusters Declassified - Martin Shaw takes to the skies to retrace the route of the 1943 raid.

And an hour long version (previously shown in half hour Monday night slot).

Good point, hadn't realised it was an extended edit. It's interesting to see BBC Leeds productions getting a network run-out, this and Helicopter Heroes (and the Superleague Show to an extent, although that's an indie production), as it's only really meant to be Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham which make stuff for network.
