Anyone taken a look at the listings for all BBC One regions tomorrow?

We're spoilt for choice aren't we?

West Midlands - Programme about the 1982 Pope visit

Scotland - Magic Or Medicine - Homeopathy & The NHS

Wales - X Ray (Consumer series)

London, Northern Ireland, North West, East & West - Saints & Scroungers - About benefit theft.

North East & Cumbria - Programme about the Great North Run.

Yorkshire, Yorkshire & Lincolnshire & East Midlands - Dambusters Declassified - Martin Shaw takes to the skies to retrace the route of the 1943 raid.

South, South East & Oxford - Battle Of Britain : The South Coast - Historian Howard Tuck uncovers forgotten traces of one of the most terrifying planned invasions of Britain.

Apart from the likes of 'Inside Out', when did we last get such a rich selection of opt outs?

Presentation wise, I guess the programmes shown in more than one region will get a generic BBC One ident, but it will be interesting to see who plays out what? (I suppose London/Network will play out it's programme but will BBC NI play out it's own ident?)

Shame it will only last a week!

Wonder if it'll be like when BBC Midlands did that time shift for the evening, with unbranded idents and "Now on one,"

Doubt the ident will be unbranded as they manage to do a Midlands branded ident for Inside Out!

Obviously they found some footage as they were asking for footage on a couple of sites, including Facebook, as they didn't seem to have all the footage from that period!

It's not only BBC North that like to use that outdated phrase then.

All the regions will be staffed as it's between the news and the 8pm update so those opting out might just play their own ident/anno before joining the relevant programme

We had The Spending Review last week which was a regional programme too.

Now that, a monthly political show excepted, ITV English regions no longer produce non-news programming, I wish the BBC would produce more regional programming like this

London had its own programme a couple of weeks ago about the Blitz.

I'm all for these kinds of regional programmes, and I have to say they're a lot more worthwhile than the kind of regional series you'd get on ITV over the past decade (or even further back).

And again next Monday with a weather related show with Peter Cockroft.

The network CA at 7.30 announced that EastEnders was on, but no mention of the programme on now in the London region, which is Saints and Scroungers. Did the network announcer do this for all English regions?

Here in the South East we got a SE branded ident and the CA mentioned the name of the programme.

Why are people posting things like this thread, the ginofish thread (now sadly deleted) and the BBC strike thread in The Newsroom when they would be more suited to the other forums?

The Dambusters programme was a Leeds in house production (credited to BBC Yorkshire and Lincs, but they use that for pan-regional stuff). Preceded by a generic ident with Michael Henderson (Radio Leeds newsreader) announcement, and followed by the network part of the 8pm news update in nasty soft 14:9.
