Which Regional News Programme on BBC or ITV has had the most new looks in the last 10 years?

Also, some have kept the same music throughout, whilst others changed the music all the time

Which news programme had the same look the longest?

Look North's (newcastle) 97-99 theme was great, specially the proper tune for Look North itself (which was always the 6.30 show, does anyone have the titles for that?

It used to have a piano piece and and camera shot of North East landscapes being flown over with names appearing sometimes.

HMm.
I recon Granada Tonight wins for the most new looks.
They have had loads of variations of the 1991 and 1992 titles, and loads of failures inbetween.
As for music that would probably have to be Westcountry Live

I'm pretty sure BBC Look East are in for the race - every year they seemed to make some sort of change whether it was the music or the set. They could never make up their minds on whether 'Look East' should be written in capital letters or italics!

I think perhaps Tyne Tees has more regional news 'new looks' than any other channel, Northern Life, North East News, North East Tonight, Network North at least Yorkshire have stuck with 'Calendar' for years.

Calendar of course has had their theme for AGES! It was even the start up theme when Yorkshire used to start up!

HTV Wales changes once every 2 years. But at their last revamp in March this year, they had kept the same desk as was used in the previous look.

HTV Wales cost-cutting?

What did the BBC do with their old newsdesk (one from the virtual newsroom with the blue and white strip lights inside it) - do they chuck it on a skip outside TVC or donate it to musuems, or even individuals??

I posted this in another thread before, didn't realise you asked for it in here too.

A lot of things go to training facilities.

The whole East Midlands Today studio was donated somewhere for people to practice!
