I'm sorry, but this is the Robert Mugabe of threads on Metropol

Lol, you like that Robert Mugabe analogy don't you Wink

Yes, I charge £65,000 per Robert Mugabe quote, as it was me that thought of it in the first place under dubious circumstances....

A cynic might be tempted to the view that that comment is the Robert Mugabe of extortion!

On thursday I noticed East Midlands Today got a tree. It looks a bit poor!
Also NO Tree, yet, on Look East!! Does anyone know if Look East usually have a Christmas Tree?? Or will a Tree be like a "barrier" between the presenters and viewers just like the desk was!!?? Very Happy

I think they have had christmas trees in the past, but I can't remember if they did last year though. Like you I have not spotted a Christmas tree as yet on Look East, but from visiting the Forum and glancing up to their newsroom, I have noticed that they have at least got some Christmas decorations up there!

EDIT 23/12/03: From watching last night's programme, I noticed that in addition to the Christmas decorations in the newsroom, they have a Christmas tree in there as well, which appeared when there was a local choir singing a festive carol at the end of the programme!
