The contest is on to find which region has the best Christmas Tree or Christmas display. Post the pics from your region here, and collectively the members can judge which is worthy of the coveted title,

TV Forum Regional News Christmas Tree Champion 2003

To get things under way, here is Calendar's splendid display complete with projected snowflakes on the floor !! Christine looks very proud, almost as if she decorated it herself. It's set the standard early on, so come on, how does your region compare ?

Lookaround usually have a good tree, but that awful studio spoils it.

Don't you just like all those camera angles used on Calendar there. Christine's glass of water moves all over the place between every shot!

Both BBC Newsline and UTV Live are running competitions to find the best (ie. over the top) decorated house exterior in Northern Ireland.

Newsline are judging the winner on Friday, their "celebrity" judge is Uncle Andy from "Give My Head Peace" Rolling Eyes and apparently the winner gets a "major" prize. Not sure whether UTV are ripping off... I mean using the same idea.

They should come to where I live, Lurgan - I've lost count how many houses have lights, illuminated Santas and inflatable snowmen in their garden. Wouldn't mind seeing their electric bill in January Laughing

Does Wales ever get a Christmas tree?

Tyne Tees TV's North East Tonight for once has gone Christmas mad, the set is covered in Xmas cards and fake presents, a nice fiberoptic tree (not the old white one) and there is holly all around the desk, and a nice green wreath on the wall.

You could almost call it Santa's Grotto. Laughing

Well BBC LDN have their usual white tree in the background, but it's not very noticeable. They should use the space in the middle for one IMO, perhaps hanging from the ceiling where they are currently displaying that sculpture.
