regional name

I know Everyone Would love to have them back, and most people know there never coming back, although Up here I still have STV ( it a Scottish thing)

the point is every couple of years we lost regional names and got New one ATV - Centre. ATV was not a grate regional name! nor where a couple of others! but people thinks it will make things better, but the way ITV operating I doubt that very much,

I know ITV is suppose to be LOCAL TV, but after switch-over will there still have to operate to that reason? there hardly doing it right now. look there London TV - or that new Portsmouth channel ,

I have come to the same conclusion as some others that most of the time when it wasn't network it was 90% the same programmes, and the other 10% was News or some programme about farms, etc.

Up in Scotland the most regional programmes we had were 7 years ago Before ITV cut there hours and there were show on Saturday and Sunday: ( still far better than ITV current programmes at this time, but that a matter of opinion, plus there had the money at the time as well unlike now ! )

what so bad with ITV name, Meridian come along no one complained about the name did there?

The only reason I believe STV name will be kept is to keep Scottish parliament happy)

What new Portsmouth channel?

I though there now had a local channel OR is that Southampton??? some one does

Do you mean Six TV (the local low powered RSL)?

They've got one in Oxford, one in Southampton and one in Portsmouth (according to Media UK the one in Portsmouth has currently suspended its transmissions though).
