its pathetic isn’t it. the same happens every time bbc midlands opt out, for example after panorama on sunday night. time and time again network trail the next programme.
i am pretty sure london know about the opts, and yet trail the programmes anyway. viewers are not going to complain about NOT seeing a trail, but they WILL complain about not seeing a programme that they are being told they WILL see.
its not rocket science.
although, it should also be pointed out that regions should have the common courtesy to acknowledge that a particular network programme will not be shown. "in a change to some listings guides" is all they need to prefix to the annos.
At least ITV (on 99% occasions) seem to provide a clean feed to the regions if they are opting out of the network schedule. I think UTV, Scottish and Channel receive this clean feed all day.
Surely the BBC could provide something similar?
