Regional Announcement into a national programme, on ITV1

Was this only on Granada or something? But at 10.30pm before TV's Naughtiest Blunders 8 (Without a set now, with Penk as a V/O and tons of Carlton's canned laughter) but anyway the announcement was that join Soccernight at 11.30 as Bolton play....... being played over an Ant and Dec ident.

Plus from the Granada News I guessed that Soccernight is only on ITV1 Granada. But is this a first or something? Or does this happen in other regions?

Here in Central West we got a Rhona Cameron ident with the announcer telling us about Central Sports Special at 11:30.

There was one into the News at Ten on Granada too....

There would only need be two regional announcements made since Soccer Night is on Granada and Border, and Soccer Special is on Central, and everyone else is showing Great Escapes.

A network ECP went out over the end of TV's Naughtiest blunders. Haven't worked out if this was Yorkshire or Central yet (can't remember which channel's on which on the video).

We got the standard credits, but no ECP on Granada after that.

Turns out it was Yorkshire I was watching, who are showing the network programme.

Here in london the announcement went right over what Penky was saying over the end credits! Great! Another case of recorded anno's crashing over the credits!

I think that would have been acceptable by most viewers in the case of talking over Steve Penk
