Has anyone else noticed an increase in regional adverts on ITV1 lately?
I don't know whether it depends on the region you watch,, but I'm watching ITV1 Westcountry via Sky at the moment, and during an ad break in You've Been Framed, there were FOUR regional adverts in a row!
I have seen the occasional one or two ads in non-regional programmes in recent years, but never four in a row, not since the pre-2002 ITV days.
I thought regional companies advertising had decreased a lot since around 2002 when transmission transferred to London, but this made it look like the good old days of regionally controlled ITV!
And as I type, they've just had FIVE regional ads in a row!
