Well that a turn up for the books, 2017 Stings have come back for use, this time with updated RND in the middle.

The background's been updated too. That one only debuted when Oneness did.

I was suprised to see 'Comic Releif' in the listings and not 'Red Nose Day' considering they've had a bit of a rebrand this year because much of the public think they're the same thing.

After the Palladium/O2 detour they're back in a studio this year at Esltree.

I think Red Nose Day 2017 was a bit of a train wreck IMO.

Yep, Elstree this time round.

2017 was a bit of a mess but 2015's from the palladium was the best for a long while

Elstree is a safe bet for Comic Relief, in the same way BBC Television Centre was their home along with Children in Need for years. Stay where you know the show works best.

I wonder if they will use the BBC Studio D which Children in Need use or will they decide to use the larger George Lucas Stage 2 which Strictly uses over at Elstree?

I see they say they are going back to the "iconic" BBC Elstree Studios, so safe to say they will be using Studio D. Is BBC Elstree now "iconic"?

As an aside I really don't like that rebranding. The previous long-established branding may not have been amazing but at least it had personality. How bland is that new identity!

For viewers of EastEnders, Holby City, Grange Hill and UFO, I guess.

Studio D was also The Muppet Show studio which is pretty iconic in itself. (Incidentally, Statler & Waldorf's balcony is still visible in the studio, minus the decor)
