French and Saunders' USP used to be their musical and film skits. Jennifer has the gift of being able to look just like anyone she cares to impersonate. The car share idea isn't quite thought through IMO and they chose to do some slightly odd celebs in the passenger seat. Fell a bit flat.
Vic and Bob interviewing Susanna Reid was cringeworthy but actually no worse than the original sketches. Never found it terribly funny in the first place.
The Toast sketch showed that it didn't work live. The audience didn't get it.
When the highlight of the show is which biscuit is better, you know things aren't as good as they could be.
That said, I enjoyed Red Nose Day Actually. Bit cheesy, but well made. Ed Sheeran is quite a competent presenter it would appear and his contributions have been very compelling.
Over and out.

I think it was announced on the special blue peter earlier.
Talking of Blue Peter as part of Barney's joke challenge they went to BBC broadcast centre so barney could do a link with Duncan. Only a small thing but still interesting if anyone is bothered.
I know that this is something, but what ever happened to that Comic Adventure game they kept advertising? My son voted for a nose and not one single mention of the vote!

The Greg Davies segment on BBC Two is funnier than the three hours of content on BBC One.

You know they're on BBC Two now, right?
I think it's starting to get a bit funnier now.

From what I've seen of tonight, it has been far from good! As mentioned already, it doesn't seem a very slick production - it's all well and good having things go wrong and that being funny in itself, but this feels like they're purposely messing up and hoping for something funny to happen. In addition to that, the majority of tonight hasn't been funny! I like Vic and Bob, but their skit with Susannah Reid was awful, and the French and Saunders stuff hasn't been much better. Red Nose Day Actually was okay, but I agree a waste of a good cast. Think I preferred it in 2015!

I don't think they'll be back in TV Centre in 2 years, after 2 shows in bigger venues going back to TC1 will seem a bit of a step down.
Personally I think they had the right idea last time with a theatre, much better atmosphere and back to it's roots
I can't wait for the TV Centre to get back into operation and they can bring proper warm up people.

And Lenny Henry has told the audience to shut up, just as I was about to tweet BBC One, to tell them to shut up. The Graham Norton Show should always have a great audience.
The crap sound has continued into Graham Norton's section I see. I assume the people involved in the sound have never worked on TV before?

Highlight of the show so far.
