The way TT gives kudos to all these posts- either he's trolling or he totally lacks any form of self awareness.

Sorry to be rude, but I think these people talking in this nightclub is rather rude and uncontrollable.

So they've started with singing and dancing, and the first segment is singing and dancing in a car. Tumble Tower is missing out!

That was a great Comic Relief show. I think that was one segment but for most of the night it was Lenny, Griff and Jonathan Ross from a desk. That was the best presenting line up of Comic Relief.
I've seen footage of the 89 red nose day which invovled the presenters (and a puppet dog) presenting from a bed... which was bizarre.

Thing is though, presenters are generally better at keeping a live television show together than a comedian, especially when things take a turn for the unexpected.
I remember one year Ant and Dec presented a segment of Comic Relief pretty much as an episode of Takeaway and it was a brilliant bit of Telly and damn funny to boot.
Which is what made the early Comic Reliefs so good. Would much rather watch the modern day equivalent of the 80s Griff Rhys Jones, Lenny Henry and Jonathan Ross bumbling through the night than experienced presenters polishing over the cracks
Back then when we had lots of comedy hits you'd have a well known comedy act hosting an hour. I'd take the hour that a Father Ted hosted over a slick hour with presenters. That's when Comic Relief lost it. Like when Top Of The Pops stopped using Radio 1 DJs and got any old sod in to host it.
Good to see them returning to comedians hosting rather than the presenters of late - even regular Davina McCall is ousted - though not too sure about the slot after the news essentially being a chat show - that be better at the end of the night IMO.
