I'm in the same opionion of CDUKJunkie in that there is no edition this year - seems to typify ITV a little as there is no music show on the channel anymore - and if anyone states The X-Factor well that programme is a showcase for the judges rather than the so-called wannabe hopefuls and also don't forget even Stars In Their Eyes has been axed!!!!
Stars In Their Eyes hasn't been axed. They didnt know what to do with the show but they mentioned it wasnt being axed, they were working on a revamp.

Ah feck. There's only one thing worse than an inexplicably popular junk-TV show that's been on for 20 years, and that's an inexplicably popular junk-TV show that's been on for 20 years and has had a dodgy revamp.
Why can't they put the lame duck to sleep. This show was an early precursor to those evil Fame-X-Pop-Star-Idol-Factor-Academy crapfests, and that alone is enough to warrant its destruction.

Yup, this is the replacement to Record of the Year. Told you it hadn't been axed, it's just returning in a different guise.

Cat wanted the show to move to London so she could travel between Amercia (where she now lives) and there a lot easier.

Im against the show being moved to London. Too many shows have moved there from the North (This Morning for example moved from Liverpool).
Does it actually matter where a show is filmed? For all we know, Stars in their Eyes could be being filmed in Japan but they just tell us its in Manchester. There is no proof (unless you have been).
If they moved it to London and told us it was in Granada, we would probably believe them.
I dont think it matters where a show is filmed, just as long as its on if its good.
