PS EVERY region got their correct name on screen apart from ITV1 Wales and West and also ITV1 Westcountry.
Central didn't either.

The guy from Westcountry has presented a national programme, I'm sure of it. He's certainly been more exposed than the ITV1 London man - who the heck was that?

The guy from Westcountry was called Matt Rudge. Ive no idea who the London bloke was, ive not seen him before.

So who was this GILES guy for ITV1 London?

Im sure he was either off an episode of Blind Date and/or that sexual gameshow set in Marbella in Spain with Julian Clary and Denise Van Outen presenting it - oh what the hell was it called?!?!?!

PS EVERY region got their correct name on screen apart from ITV1 Wales and West and also ITV1 Westcountry.

What a real shame HTV was the only region not to have its correct (original) name onscreen.

Didn't see the show - but was he quite "posh"?

If so he may have been the Giles that used to present a show on "The Dating Channel" - who I think has popped up doing the odd show on late night ITV1 ?

Yeah, thanks Jez. Matt Rudge used to be the bloke sat with the microphone in the audience of The Wright Stuff.

As I didn't see the show - was the voting done properly from the regions this time - or was it the dodgy CSO positions that they used last time (with all the regional presenters being brought down to London and presenting from a couple of CSO positions off-set)

Westlife won it?! With 'MANDY'? Which has just been released, and is a cover version (and a crap one at that) - and with it being released in December, it will probably win next year too.

It wasn't little girls ringing up (ugh... who could fancy Westlife?!) - it was probably Simon Cowell - at least he can afford it!

I think Rachel Stevens should have won - that song really was the sound of my 2003 and I'm sure many will agree.

So I guess he is also a Westcountry presenter then too?

I agree, apart from Mark, he is nice. I dont think they should have won, the song certainly isnt my idea of Record of the Year

I think so too, plus many people do agree with me that it is a very good video and the song is very catchy. I really also wanted Black Eye Peas to do well aswell, as that is a damn good song. They should divide the show into two and have two different ceremonies, currently under project names....

1) 'The Pop Record of The Year, for 12 Year old girls basically, dominated by Westlife etc...
2) THE Record of the Year, for everyone else who is sick to death of kiddie pop and likes more normal music, such as Black Eye Peas, ie something which is liked by everyone and something which isn't adored by kids.

You sound just like my sister before she became a rock chick. She was obsessed with Mark Westlife. I was more obsessed with Billie Piper at the time, but went off her when she married Chris Evans.

I also noticed a couple of presenters from "UKool" as well. Also wasnt one from ill fated pop band "allstars" who had a sclub style show on SM:tv for a while?

Also would the result still be the same if the results were all combined together as a percentage of the nation, rather than a percentage of the regions, if you know what i mean?
