Lets hope Westlife dont win! Im glad Gareth Gates isnt in it this year, I cant believe he won last year and that "Unchained Melody" was Record of the Year, people werent voting for the song, they were voting for him.
I hope the winner is Daniel Bedingfield for "If You're Not The One"

Oh, well I would not have had Westlife in my ten. Anyway, the songs I like are Room 5, Dido, Evanescence is not bad but wont win, I bet Rachel does well!
As for Daniel Bedingfield - If You're Not The One, well Its not bad but I prefer his first single but the U.S. version. The video is great me thinks.

I don't mind the majority of the songs in the top 10 but the Westlife inclusion is ridiculous, and I can just see it now that they're going to win. It's just some naff cover of a Barry Manilow song anyway.

Do you think they will bother with the regions this year, going around every region for the results.
well 45 minutes has got to be filled, so I would expect something. Probably just the same as last year, a chart with the ITV regional name on.
The year before that was good, when we got full screen Frozen Border, Anglia etc Hearts idents! Great!!

Well last year they had ITV1 Wales and West of England together as one region, although technically they are 1 region under the "HTV" franchise I really think they should be split as Wales should be separate. And I hope we dont get someone from ITV1 West giving the results, all the best people work for HTV Wales like Lucy Cohen, Justina Simpson, Steve Jones, Sara Elgan etc
I think with all the teenage girls voting Westlife might stand a good chance of winning

If anybody has to vote for the Record of the Year tonight, can you please make it not Westlife. Many thanks.
Oh, and any act that's not there in person doesn't really deserve to win in my opinion.

Looks like somone else needs a copy of the Guiness book of British Hit Singles. Just like the Robbie Williams question on TOTP, they've got something wrong. They said the Black Eyed Peas beat Cher's reign at number 1 with "believe". Wrong! The Black eyed peas were number 1 for 6 weeks- Cher was number 1 for 7 weeks!

I thought they said the Black Eyed Peas was the longest running no.1 since Cher's Believe in whatever year that was.

Interestingly, I think I'm right in saying that Record of the Year is being broadcast from Television Centre! I remember hearing somewhere that it is one of the non-BBC programmes filmed there, and if you look at the layout and audience seating carefully you'll see the resemblance to that of shows like Children in Need, Distraction and Boy and Girls.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!
EDIT: Perhaps not then, the corridor doesn't look much like those in TVC after all.
BBC Resources did design the graphics and scoring system, though, and they operate the system themselves by entering the scores live.
