HELP, still no luck, I must be stupid or something but can u give me step by set instruction please... from when you first un-zip it. Cos i've tried everything i know (not much) and still no joy.... HELP, everyone else's works.... ...---... (SOS)
1. Unzip Tinra into a new file, c:tinra (create it yourself)
2. Move the file you want to convert into the Tinra file and rename it to a short name, i.e. for East Midlands Today, call it EMT
3. On the start menu, click Run and type in the following:
c:tinratinra.exe file:whatever.ram whatever.avi
Change 'whatever' to your filename and if your file is .rm or .ra, change the .ram to the appropriate type.
4. Click OK and the programme should run in DOS. You should get a series of dots counting up. If this happens, you're alright
5. The AVI file will be in the Tinra folder.
6. Open VirtualDub and then I take it you can do it from there!
Ok tried that, but it just says tinra has cause an iligal operation in tinra, and cloes, it, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG on others it works, EVERYONE ONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Are you sure you are not calling the output file the same as a .avi file that already exists in the Tinra directory.
E.g. Your Tinra folder was C:Tinra
You want to convert a file a.rm to a.avi
Are you sure you haven't got any files the samename as the output file (a.avi for example)?
