Not a fan of adding the try count to the scorebar. Half the fun of tuning in late is trying to work out how the points have got to where they have.

Not a fan of the graphics, full stop.

Too big, and looks like a mock of the BBC Sport graphics knocked up in 3 minutes on PowerPoint.

It looks weird the way they have done it, obviously they didn't want to redesign the scorebar. The EPCR one does it better (and obviously with BPs now a factor I understand the reason it's been added).

Of course the Six Nations graphics are very obviously shall we say "inspired" by the BBC Sport graphics - as are the Pro 12 graphics (which given that Celtic Rugby and the Six Nations Committee are based out of the same office, is probably no surprise).

When they say free to air rights, will that be the whole of the womens world cup, or just selected matches?

The way it was worded it could be either but from the World Rugby announcement it seems they have exclusive rights to the Womens World Cup at least. I imagine that and the Under 20s tournament will be on ITV4.

It's the last year (for the time being at any rate) that RTE will have the Six Nations, before TV3 takes over for 2018. Conor O'Shea is out for obvious reasons, Ronan O'Gara and Shane Horgan in the main panel with Brent Pope the only survivor of the classic line-up.

Shame RTE are losing the rights now after having a far better line up of analysts now, the only one of the original panel that spoke any sense was Conor O'Shea who was excellent and they finally got rid of the appalling McGurk & Hook and replaced with Daire O'Brien, O'Gara & Horgan although after yesterday prediction of Ireland v Scotland Ronan O'Gara may be becoming the new George Hook.

Coincidence I'm sure but broadcsters often seem to up their game once they've lost the rights. Probably the talent after a job with the new rights holders.

ITV just announced they've secured the World Cup rights for 2019 and 2023, plus the free to air rights for the Womens World Cup and Under 20s World Cup.

Good news, to be fair to ITV Sport their Rugby coverage of Rugby World Cup & 6 Nations has been excellent and great to see World Rugby sticking with Free to Air for their biggest events.

I agree - really like that they bring a different perspective to the BBC for the Six Nations. I don't think World Rugby put the rights out to tender, instead giving ITV a chance to strike a deal as a reward for their highly praised host coverage of the 2015 World Cup.

I think they may have bee bundled in with the RWC rights - Eir Sport got the same deal in Ireland.
