Rapture have announced that they will be returning to the Sky platform on 14th November 2005.
The channel, which went off air in June 2004 will return with revamped programming.
Rapture first launched in 1997 but closed in 2001. The channel then came back on air after a deal resulting in Power TV buying out the broadcaster from United Business Media. The changeover in management couldn’t help turn around the channel's fortunes and eventually closed down last year.
Could it be third time lucky for Rapture?
The channel is currently testing off the EPG under the label '53205'.
To manually add the channel go to 'add channels' in the 'services' menu and add the following details:
11.345H
22.00

rapture tv was and always will be pants.
i can remember the first incarnation when it was played out from Anglia Television in norwich... it was the same few recorded features spliced with music video.
never very interesting to watch and i'm sure this new station will go the same way.
music channels must be one of the most competitive genres on the sky platform, surely we don't need another channel?

Rapture should be much better this time, with less reliance on Clubbing/Extreme Sports.
Instead there will be a revamped line up including the BBC drama series Tinseltown which aired on BBC Choice, and later BBC Two, a few years ago. Plus films, (both shows about films and feature films), gaming, anime, comedy and some other shows.
