Alison Hammond (of This Morning fame) is to get her own chat show on ITV.

Seems a rather specific thread rather than random general miscellany.

Must he the first daytime chat show ITV have commissioned since Mel and Sue. Alison is great in the 5-minute hotel promo junkets on This Morning. Whether that'll translate into an hour long chat show I'm not so sure.

I thought she was Alison of jumping on a table and breaking it fame?

Richard Lindley (Panorama and TV Eye) has passed away.

And Channel 4 also reporting the passing of their Dispatches correspondent Tazeen Ahmad. Tazeen was also a news presenter on BBC Three when it launched.

We don't need another deaths of people who aren't that famous thread.

Couldn't this have just gone in the This Morning thread?

No because it’s not about This Morning. As Brekkie Boy rightly states it’s not a random bit of information but about a new ITV daytime show which surely warrants its own thread.
