More to the point, how did the C5 publicity office send that photo out without anyone in the chain from photographer onwards noticing?!

You'd expect someone in the Northern & Shell building to think anything was wrong with that picture?

Actually, expect an Express article tomorrow decrying the Radio Times and declining moral standards in EU Zone 12 (formerly Great Britain), with every fourth and fifth word being "CHANNEL" and "5". In bold. With the sh*te version of the logo next to it.

In fairness, it's really only obvious if you're looking for it. I haven't seen the picture in context in the RT, but depending on its size* the 'offending object' may be even less noticeable. Is the average RT reader in the habit of scanning the crotches of service men?

*The size of the picture, not the size of the bloke's todger!

Oh, lighten up. It was obviously something that just slipped through the net. They are probably as mortified as the Radio Times.

From what I've read about it, it sounds like Royal Marines: Mission Afghanistan could be a very good show actually. It tells me all I need to know that you are using a cockup (quite literally perhaps!) with the image they sent out to try and discredit the channel it's airing on.

It's a deliberate C5 and/or RT publicity stunt, shirley?
