Can there be a radio discussion thread here? I'm saying this because I want to know why Heart and Radio Music Shop are not on my Freeview box. If radio discussion isn't welcome I understand Wink

RadioMusicShop is now available on Freeview 729 - you may have to rescan - no news on Heart yet.

BBC 6 Music is quite a good radio station and should make profits for the BBC. If you want you can put the station frequency/channel no. below.

Frequency: (none because DAB station)
Freeview No. : 707

I thought Heart was already avaliable on 728 across the Midlands, where they have two radio stations?

Yes, it is available in the midlands, but at present it is relying on the Heart 100.7 transmitter rather than Heart Digital, so really it hasnt launched yet.

Yes, it would be nice to have a bit more radio on here.
Has anyone ever noticed on any Steve Wright (dreadful) radio programme that when he or any of his additional mouthpieces reads any form of correspondance, they always add "Love the show" "Great Show Steve" "your show makes my day" etc etc. This of course is all added by his over protective production team. His Sunday love songs callers are all told that they must say "love the show" at the end of there message, otherwise it doesn't get aired. All strange but very true!

Or on his Love Song programmes, letters often read "Sunday mornings wouldn't be the same without you". He condescendingly comments: "Why do people write that, I'm not going anywhere".

So not only is he ignorant, he's egotistical too. Time Janice Long or Mark Radcliffe replaced Steve Wright's Groundhog Day presentation of TOTP2 IMHO. Same old tired clips and same accompanying "cutting remarks" from Wrighty Rolling Eyes

Sorry but I think he is an annoying airhead who shouldn't given air time Wink ! Especially not when he's crawling up his celebrity guest's backside, that makes excrutiating radio.

I shall shut up now, I'm personally not especially keen on talking about radio on TV Forum! Embarassed

It's great to have Heart 106.2 welcomed onto the Freeview platform! Very Happy

There's more info at Heart 106.2's website and Freeview respectively.
