They don't just get up in the morning, sit on their ass and talk crap you know.

You obviously haven't heard Steve Wright in a while. He's on £440,000 a year, and for what? The same jingles and patter he's been heaping on the listener for years?

I agree, It seems Steve is stuck in the 1980s but for some reason I like the fact his show style hasn't changed. Laughing

Does Chris Evans deserve his wage? He's been out of public sight for the best part of 4 years but - can he still cut it? I'm imagining there will be a huge change between him an Johnnie Walker.

Bloody hell, if he's on that much, then the least he could do is learn how to drive the new desks properly. I know it's a little shock to the system having nice spangly digital playout technology at your fingertips, especially for a man who's been using carts aplenty but there appeared to be far too many "technical" problems.

Especially during songs, with it dropping out momentarily - one would have thought the desks would have been broken in over for a number of months with those at Radio 1 and 2. I suspect it was him trying to get a song off air he didn't like listening to.

Yesterday he almost sent Radio 2 into a full breakdown, trying to play 'Kubb' and going horribly wrong.. Would have been a good omen for Chris Evans - another bastion, whom I dare say is eating at the coppers.

I still can't understand why BBC radio stations are funded by the *TV* License. And I find it even harder to understand how Chris Moyles gets paid so much... at best he's no better than any local radio breakfast show host. He's most certainly nothing special.

Yeh agreed. He was Ok when he took over, but now I can't bear him, he really is quite standard. I know radio presenters love the sound of their own voices but he's beyond that. He makes the show tacky. IMO. And it's my opinion obviously as the show pulls in millions of viewers everyday, which I can't understand. I like to listen to music personally.
