You tell me listening to that tune and seeing the sweeping shots of the course that it is nothing short of magnificent. I wish we could have more like this nowadays where the titles are pretty basic because the beauty of the course can just speak for itself.



There was also a lesser known slightly orchestral remix between 2000 and 2002 before attheraces launched. There's pretty much no clips at all apart from this one where some dodgy clipped recordings have been stitched together. Not as good as the original but it doesn't sound too bad, don't tend to remember this one too much.

For a while I thought I’d imagined that rearrangement happened! But it did.

It missing the middle 8 hence why the updated one was crap also the remix come before 2000.

Another reason for the rebrand I'm pretty sure is the fact that the logo is still in the 2011-2016 Sky Channel logo styling.

You think they'd rebrand an entire channel because the logo is a slightly different style?

There have been crazier reasons for doing things in the broadcasting business. This actually sounds kinda moderately believeable.

To be fair it’s not just the logo - the channels entire on air look is like Sky Sports about five or more years ago - plenty of all caps and 3D-glass effects
