Some of the presenters on QVC crack me up. Not because their jokes are funny, but because they are so awful, you can see them shining bright red through their makeup.
Today they had a teddy bear which had a gel packet inside it. the gel would be heated in the microwave then shoved up the bear's rear to make the bear warm and cosy. I don't know who the guy was, but he put the bear behind him and then laughed: "Look, I've got a bear behind!" The silence that fell over the studio was so embarrassing, it was amusing. You could tell he was embarrassed after it too.
Also, it seems more recently that all the males on there are gay, or am I imagining things? Interesting too that they haven't befallen the curse of Marcopolo House...
If any of you get abroad, check out German shoppingsender RTL Shop. I can't believe how many outtakes I've seen live on there! Ralf Kuehler seems to be the unfortunate one, smashing a tube light, forgetting how to operate a kettle and then realising he hasn't plugged it in, breaking one of those toastie grill things with removable cooking surfaces, and most amusingly, bursting a balloon on a tin which had been opened using a 'no sharp edges' opener.
