QVC

I woke to to find new 'L' graphics on QVC, now I know we dont see much shopping telly on the forum so I thought I would post this....  As usuall the new graphics are ok, but hey this wouldnt be the TV Forum with out a few mocks, so ive done a few.  QVC Mocks

PS. It was great to see the new 'massive' QVC Active logo covering the product number on the old graphics last night.

Well I much preferred the old ones personally, these are just rather borin

From what I recall that is the USA style QVC and there trying to make us look like american QVC or losing the ratings?

I suppose it has something to do that they've gone from having virtually no competition here in the UK to having quite a bit - the first major competition coming fromShop! then from Ideal World and now HSE, but there are all the others such as the Simply's which IMHO have gone a little Simply far

Your right they do look a bit similar, but thank got there not as bad as Ideal World, where did they find there typeface from. What QVC needs is some colour.... and I dont mean bright red and yellows, It can be more posh than that....

I suppose it's nice to see a new side of QVC. Back in April last year I went to the studios in London - very large and one hell of a lot happening at the time!

What have QVC done? Gone from streamlined graphics to big blocky shapes! That looks absolutley TERRIBLE!http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/shocked.gif

They still look overly white, possibly verging on christmassy graphics.

If they used darker blue and more brigher colours rather than a pallete of colours found in sick for the extra boxes then it'd be a bit nicer. As to the music, that's cheesier!

I do believe they are based on QVC Germany's L, as they use it while demostrating TV's and stuff.

The new L's much cleaner than that old 3D clutter; they've finally spotted that www.qvcuk.com looks a bit squashed under the phone number, so they've cleared that up.
