Quizmania returns to Itv1 this friday

De-ja-vu, its everyone's favourite newpaper columnist ( ) Gary Bushell's on The Mint again.

I was actually thinking, could Quizmania have been pulled off ITV2 in preparation for live coverage of Celebrity Love Island?

wrong wrong wrong The AWFUL mint is on ITV 1 ITV2 and ITV PLAY. WHY WHY WHY cant Quizmania be shown on at least one channel???

Wait ... you actually WANT this rubbish to be shown on our screens?

Remember that this forum has fans of ITV Nightscreen, so anything is possible

Not yet, but it probably will be. One of The Mint's presenters has said is contracted to run until the end of September.

So anybody watching this 'Rovers Return Pub Quiz' with TV's Paul Hendy.

In some kind of replica set, complete with 'Hilda's Ducks' to notify a wrong answer.

"Find A Song By The Beatles?" Errr What? Unbelieveable, using Corrie as bait to get viewers again.

ITV Play is probably the first time that ITV have exploited their brands so shamelessly. This Morning, Friends Reunited and Corrie, no doubt there will be more to follow.

It really is pathetic, I mean, what did the anno say after Corrie?

"If you're a true Corrie fan then tune in straight after this episode to ITV Play and the Rovers Return Pub Quiz.."

Its...just.... words fail me...

The Mint is not watchable at all

Quizmania is a bit of entertainment relevant to the time of the morning and is watchable

It wasn't your usual quiz where there is a question on screen that random viewers get to answer.

Questions are asked and everyone can take part from a one off payment of £1 - even if you are on the phoen for minutes!

Everyone answers questions together via the buttons on their phone keypad and viewers are selected from everyone who got the most answers correct.

Participation-wise it seemed to involve the viewer more and they seem have two Corrie stars on the teams each night.

Not as bad as other quiz offerings but I feel it does damage the Corrie brand!
