Quizmania returns to Itv1 this friday

One thing I've noticed recently, the number of people who keep calling these Quiz Shows... when it isn't actually on the channel that they're watching.

I recall a couple of weeks back, a guy phoned up The Mint and seemed surprised to be able to get through despite the fact that the show was only on ITV Play at the time and was due to join ITV1 shortly. Cue five straight minutes of explaining the game and then not winning anything. Honestly, what sort of person phones up a number to enter a competition that they can't even see? If that isn't throwing money down the drain I don't know what is.

Also, when the presenters don't understand what the caller is saying irritates me. On The Mint we've just had a woman trying to say 'SEEDBED' about 15 million times. and blow me...it was one of the answers.

Chuck Thomas made a rare presenting appearance on QM yesterday.

And guess what he was wearing... that black jacket with white pinstripes, a white shirt and jeans.

Did anyone here David the other day mention something along the lines of 'it'll look better when we have our new set'.

Can anyone shed any light on this. Technically Quizmania hasn't changed that much at all since it launched around this time last year, even though it's moved from being an independant to being on ITV, being fully part of ITV, on ITV1 then to ITV2, then to ITV Play and onto ITV1 at the weekends.
