No to be fair I think the only reason people will initially tune in is for some strange form of nostalgia, now that the phone-in bubble no longer exsists really. If it survives any longer than it's initial 4 week run, then it'll be purely down to the creators being too stubborn to admit defeat.


I also expect the prizes to be very low (ie top prizes being £100 at a push) and I also think that it will be terribly easy to get through.

I guess also with it being online they'll find some loopholes in the clampdown on this genre that's happened on TV last year. Most of the new rules bought in seem to have been specific to shows on TV, rather than premium rate phone lines in general.

OK, it's back but it won't be the same. It's a shame that Debbie King won't be backed but I guess she's moved on.

Doesn't she partly own the Quizmania brand, so she must have at least allowed it to continue if not directly involved behind the scenes...?

Quizmania was set up by herself, Chuck Thomas and Simone Thorogood whether she has any rights to Quizmania anymore that I don't know. The only advantage of this programme coming back is the return of Kirsty Duffy Smile.

Quizmania was set up by herself, Chuck Thomas and Simone Thorogood whether she has any rights to Quizmania anymore that I don't know.

I think she may have sold the rights to Fremantle Media.

Looks like it wont be phone-in based. But more like a version of WeDigTV if the chance of winning by paying to play.

EDIT: Debbie King, now seems to be part of www.studentcooking.tv (you may have heard it mentioned on the Chris Moyles Show this morning).
