I had the misfortune of catching a minute of this last night whilst flicking during the adds of the enver-ending '100 Greatest Funny Moments' on CH4. I really couldn't believe what i was seeing. Get this. The presenter was showing a framed collection of crisps with smiley faces drawn on - one for each member of the team - that a

It's probably the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Hardly an extensive website here
But I love the oversize £20 notes Greggles is holding - classic game show. Waft it baby!
You've gotta love the way they have 'specimen' on them. If only Greggles tried spending one.
They look like a right bunch if divs on their website. The sooner it goes off-screen (knowing ITV that's unlikely
) the better. I'd rather see repeats of Jeremy Kyle having a go at someone. Now THAT'S Entertainment!

Well, at least Quizmania isn't all about "Give us ya phone money we're desperate". It involves the viewer more and adds other elements to the show.

When you think about it, the amount of money they give away as prizes, they must get a hell of a lot of those 60p calls. I mean, say they gave away a £2000 prize (which they frquently do, and more), that would require over 3300 calls just to cover the prize. And since they give away more than that a night, plus the costs of putting the show together etc, that must add up to a lot of people ringing up.
But hey, it's good entertainment.

You can double that - they actually need in excess of 6600 calls just to cover a £2000 prize when you consider they don't get the whole 60p - once you deduct VAT and all the slices of the cake that the various telecom providers take, they probably get around 30p per call.
By my calculations Gordon Brown is the biggest winner as he gets 9p from every call.

Such as the lady who phoned up on last night's show and started flirting with one of the cameramen. Turns out she knows where he lives.

Apparently Sir David Frost saved Debbie King's life by telling her to pee on a jellyfish sting.
And, no, I didn't just dream that...
