Quizmania coming to ITV1...

Doesn't matter how much you weigh - you are definitely great for a primetime gameshow. You have the personality.

I'd love to work in TV but don't have much going for me - except for a rubbish job with a even worse wage and that is with a BA(Hons)!!!!!!

Let's put it this way I would be good for either serious stuff such as an anchor person for regional or national news, or the other extreme I would be good as a gameshow host - but how difficult is it to enter the realm when one is no good at interviews or one gets rejected because either too qualified or just too over weight (at 18.5 stone!)

So you have no room to complain at being overweight - you are good and deserve to ahve programme to show your skills.

BTW I really do like your style and you are from my part of the UK. I am originally from Bolton - just north of Manchester. The North Westerners are the BEST at entertaining people!!!

Quizmania on ITV1 is definitely very watchable when you compare it to QuizCall. The fact that the latter gets more pixellated every day on Freeview and seems to be approaching the point of "don't let the presenter blink or it'll go all blocky" is beside the point.

QuizCall sets some painfully easy puzzle and then pans it out for a long time. Went through an entire 45 minutes of quiz shouting "call us, call us" and didn't take anybody live on air throughout. QuizMania seems to take more calls in an hour than QuizCall takes in an entire day.

And Quiz call is much better than The Great British Quiz, or whatever its called on Sky 166 (at the moment), where theyve had a puzzle running for days that no one will guess worth £20 000 or something, with an un achievable jackpot of over £1million. And for the brief moments that I have watched they read out the number and then stare at the camera. Very strange.

Greggles works brilliant as a double act alongside Baldry..

Absolutely.
Some of the best bits of the show are the switchover parts. Its a shame that they don't do double act segments, though they're all such big characters that it would most probably be too much. It would be worth a go though the crew are usually even for them to spin off of.

As much as I hate channels like Quizmania, Greegles does make it quite watchable, and makes Quizmania the better out of these types off channels, someone put Greegybaby UK on prime time television, take off Davina!!!!!!!!!!

Having said that I think if ITV really want to downmarket themselves which has become their skill over the last few years, then I think one or two hours of Quizmania is adequate, but fours of it is taking the biscuit!

How ironic that at a time when almost all TV channels are broadcasting 24-hours, ITV, the company that started the ball rolling, should take the decision to close at 12.05 and sell the dead-time to a third party.

I have to say, I think Quizmania should be the only live quiz phone-in show to stay but be moved to ITV2 instead.

I really think its time that Quizcall, Live Quiz TV etc should be axed. Especially that one on Ftn with Vicky Letch!

I noticed that ITV Wales have been opting out of the first half hour of this quite a few times. The presenter then welcomed viewers in Wales who joined the programme late.
