It's definitely a shame for Quizmania. I'll stick with it because I prefer the atmosphere, but most people won't give it a look.
I mean, they're both on a similar time and with similar formats - but
a) Quizmania isn't being promoted
b) Quizmania isn't on Terrestrial
c) Quizmania's top prize is usually about £500 (without a jackpot game) now. The mint has thousands, and a £100k jackpot.

It is very strange, especially over the jackpot game as they used to have the £5000 jackpot before they went to ITV1, when they simply aired 9-1 on Information TV. Though perhaps it meant more callers at the early start time. Though saying that, they ITV2 is available on all platforms, perhaps they're just making more money for themselves, thus the small prizes.
