How old was that ITV Sports Classic? It had the ITV logo from the early 90's when some of the regions took that generic ITV logo.

Been a staple of ITV Nightimes for at least a decade.

Which Television studio's do Quizmania use ?

I think it's the Pearson / RTL Group building in Stephen Street. Not 100% sure though.

I thought Greg's fire makeup and the way he milked it was quite amusing.

I always wonder if Jess is on the show to get noticed as a wannabe presenter.
I've never come across a female camerawoman who looks quite that good !

AHA! Roll your eyes all you want, dear friend... it was done in 60 seconds while we were liaising with ITV presentation about getting the show back on the air.

I will not sleep 'til you say sorry.

Or give me 26.

£26!? I thought you were meant to give people money? Sad

So now - I have to decide whether to say Sorry, or keep you awake. FOREVER. Twisted Evil

EDIT: Is it just me, or have the pound signs gone a bit doolally?

There's probably no CA in the building. I assume overnight links are recorded.

This debacle highlights the case for why there should be.

Compare this with City Hospital falling off air in 1998. Over five mins of music interspersed with regular apologies from Matthew Jackson, then eventually the balloon and standby programme. After the standby programme, a further apology.

In comparison, ITV made itself look like a cheap satellite station. What if this had been Election Night?

Question for Greg, if you ever get the chance to read it?

Was part of the reason that you moved from Price Drop to Quizmania, that you knew that QM was going to be given mainstream TV coverage - or had the deal not been sown up when you left?

It just seems that, with so many people talking about Greg (and the channel), it was either a very flukey/risky decision to leave such a well-established shopping channel, or indeed it was a result of insider information that QM would be going "big time".

And whats this I hear about Debbie King presenting a motor-sport programme on ITV1??

Blimey...

(Just realised that this makes me sound like a right big QM fan, I'm not particularly, and I have never phoned-in, however - without meaning to sound harsh - I do find it strangely a quite relaxing and theraputic way to wind down and eventually drop off.)

Hello Mr Davis: In answer to your points:

When I started at Quizmania at it's concraception, I had no idea whatsoever - nor did anybody else - of what a success it would be. There definitely was NO talk of going to ITV1. So it truly was a case of "right place, right time".

And as for Debbie hosting a motoring show - I'm scared - I've been with her in her car...... I don't know about that, is the truthful answer.

Wadge on, everyone!

Well done for handling yesturdays fire greatly greg and all at QM.

It's a shame that they are sidelining you to ITV2, though who knows they may ask you to move back up if Brian fails miserably, though I suppose even ITV2 is better than just being on Sky 181.

A few questions...

Were you having to promote the mint on ITV1 due to contractual reasons, or are you genuinely happy to give your viewers over to them?

Why has Lottie been sidelined to satilitte only?

Has does Debbie hear the phone through her hair?

And is chuck only on the last night because he's part of management?

Thanks for entertaining me for the many months since Christmas, and I look forward to seeing you back on our screens on 118 from April 12!
