Now I didn't know this but apparently (this has nothing to do with the show tonight btw) Debbie King's boyfriend is Jonathan Ansell from G4.

Correct. I think we've known for a while, but I've never heard Debbie connect "boyfriend" and "G4" in the same sentence.
Lee made me laugh for the first time tonight - when he said he was "stealing" the deckchair (left over from the beach set) and blurted out: "What're they going to do? Fire me!?"

How boring. Why not just chop Mint Extra and stick Play DJ together in a 10hr stint?
Anyway, Play DJ doesn't look like it may be here after January, as according to Two Way TV (the people who are making Play DJ and also make the software that powers the ITV Playalong segments) the (initial) contact only runs for 240hrs between December and January.

Followed by the family fortunes sound effect. He also had a countdown going, he would pick up a stuffed toy and hold it to his ear. '9 days', it said. Then greggles said, 'I don't have a clue what your talking about', then he carried on with the game. He did it again after 12 when the toy told him it was now 8 days.
He done it last night holding the toy to his ear going "7days?", then "had it coming to you?"
As Square Eyes said above it happens in all walks of life but then again alot of people do have the same reaction when told they'll no longer have a job.
We had some people made redundant in our office just before Christmas & they acted in the same way as well "who cares, what they gonna do fire me?"

Two Way could have their contract extended at this rate, watching the show now, there are still plenty of participants playing the games and using the chat bar, all at 75p a go!

Repeating myself again here, but ITV scrapping the ITV Play channel and replacing it with an ITVi stream, filling the downtime with ITV Playalong, wouldn't be a bad option.
I think an interactive stream from ITV would probably be more welcome (by me at least) than another movie channel - considering that would take yet more content away from ITV2!
