PURE CENSORSHIP - not wanting any backlash over the loss of a real popular show! (well compared to the rest of the tripe under the ITV PLay banner!!)

I wasn't even saying anything negative and PlayDJ, either!!!!!

I've seen a few messages asking what's happened to Quizmania tonight but they were ignored surprise surprise, it annoys me that it can't be acknowledged that the show even existed!

Generally ITV Play shows low quality programming, there were only three decent shows (Quizmania, The Mint and Make Your Play) on there and the best one IMO has gone. Of course there is backlash, I'm not happy that QM has gone and it's true that attempts have been made to. One rumour circulating was that QM stopped because they would have to pay a percentage of their revenue either to the government or charity. Another one being is that ITV Play might finish in a few months, personally I can see interest decreasing and the channel finishing unless changes are made. We'll wait and see.

I'll watch it when I get chance, I remember watching some German channel at about 4am and it was sort of like that. 9 Live is the most well known German quiz channel.

Its so convenient the minute QM gets axed Ofcom are investigating one of their dodgy tower games. Not that I'm disagreeing but have a look into the other **** thats on these quiz shows at the moment!

ITV Play is a complete con in itself. Grr, makes me angry! Mad

The investigation is over. It was taking place while Quizmania was on air. Even if it wasn't, how would that be convenient? If Ofcom had decided to fine ITV Play they would still have had to pay, they wouldn't get away it just because the show isn't currently on air.

Ok, maybe not convenient...more ironic.

No I just think its cheeky because I'm sure the likes of The Mint, Make Your Play and other shows have had dodgy tower game, yet they pick up on Quizmania.

I don't understand why ITV are censoring QM, the viewers aren't that stupid, plus it was iconic (to ITV Play anyway Razz )
