Followed by a brilliant example of why The Mint is nowhere near as good as the big QM. In fact that 'welcome' to ITV Play viewers was that good I turned it off.

Such a sad ending, especially because it seemed so "final" - I think we can safely say, based on how sad everybody was, that Quizmania won't be returning.

Thank you for posting that clip - I've realised tonight that I really did become a "Quizmaniac", so it's still a bit sore at the moment.

Hows that for good timing? Quizmania got in trouble with Ofcom who have just published their ruling today. I remember seeing the 'Things you find in a Womans Handbag' tower and thinking it was very unfair (although funny, but maybe thats because I didn't enter) when balaclava was revealed.

Gone and already forgotten

The answer "Baraclava" shouldn't have been in there. Despite complaints from agencies, I watch QM as more as entertainment than to win cash prizes, sure I rang up a few times but I failed to get through. I would like to pay tribute to the shows creators Chuck Thomas, Simone Therogood and Debbie King and to everyone who was connected with the show.

RIP Quizmania, ITV is a sadder place without you .
