I want to know why the hell they can't just broadcast music. And why show the same crap across 7 channels (though at that time at night, Quizworld & The Great Big British Quiz are simialcasting on just as many)?

The overnight quiz game on The Hits, Smash Hits etc. music channels, is actually broadcast from a scruffy building in Budapest, Hungary. It's beamed into the UK via a very dubious company which also makes pornographic videos for the eastern European market.

One of the other cons going around, it's technically not a quiz channel, but it's appearing on the music channels quite frequently. There's around 3 or 4 of these adverts, they present themselves as a competition with a rediculously easy question, saying if you text in, you win 2 grand. However, just like people who bough the Crazy Frog ringtone, they're actually signing up to a subscription service (IMO suitable punishment for the people who bought the Crazy Frog) and get sent a new question every day- and get charged for each one. They don't make this clear in the ad, it's only in the smallprint (and they know no-one ever reads it).

Just to jump to a small defence in relation to QM - it is made by a reputable international television company. Fremantle make the shows for ITV2 (as they previously did for ITV1 and for a couple of other Satellite channels).
As we all know Fremantle is owned by the pan-european broadcasting firm Bertlesmann (aka RTL). Anyway RTL (under the UK name of Talkback Thames) have a fruitful history of producing gameshows (except of course for the latest incarnation of The Price Is Right!!!)
So why would RTL, and/or ITV, risk the reputational loss by making a shoddy show, like BGTV and many other do.? QM, in my opinion, in one of the better operated gaming channels/producers and with teaming up with ITV they are trying to strengthen viewership, build up decent profits for bothe companies and most of all show that decent gaming TV can be done without reverting to defrauding people.
PS Gregg for Primetime ITV!

But why should Greggles commit his future to ITV?
I personally think he should go back to radio and focus on rising up through the ranks there.
He's obviously quite driven and I imagine he was great as a radio presenter.
I'm not saying he doesn't have the skills for TV, but I just feel radio might be a more lasting platform for him if he wants to pursue being a 'big name'.

Looks like ITV have severed all links with Big Game TV since the raid. This Morning Puzzle Book continues until 6pm and all mention of The Daily Quiz have been removed from the ITV Play website.
Don't know if Hallmark have done the same.

They should bring back Extra Mint to fill the 3-6pm gap as a long term solution
