This channel has been showing bars and tone all morning rather than scheduled programmes on channel 217. Wonder what the story is ?

If they're gone for good then at least that's one money grabbing channel out of the way.
Sky will find out soon enough and will pull them from the EPG, they don't like having test cards/bars broadcast on the EPG unless it's a scheduled closedown.
(Edit: From what I have just found out from other sites, they have pulled the channel off 217, and will only be broadcasting between 8pm and 11pm on channel 161).
