Quiz Call

For anyone dying to know the E4+1 transmission was no different that the 1 hour earlier airing. Or at least it was for the first 20 seconds. Now replaced with a lovely purple animated caption with the E4 logo and a message "E4 will return to your telly box shortly".

What a superb waste of bandwidth (!)

Somebody won a grand because their birthday was the 8th of May on the calendar bonus.
The loop still airs during daytime, is literally months out of date now (claiming its still on Freeview Channel 37) and packed full of presenters who no longer appear on the channel.

The E4+1 airing is just very badly thought out; why not just dump the channel during Quiz Call airing in favour of something else. Understand why they blank it out (not that it stops Paramount when they simulcast QVC and those all of the details go out on the timeshift channel when they're no longer relevant).

Considering how widespread the quiz cult has spread there must be other stations with +1 channels that screen quiz programming - what do they do?
