From all the promos of tonights special leaders edition of Question Time, it made it look like all three leaders would be on the panel at the same time . However, they are all on seperately.

What's the point? We've seen them all being interviewed by both journalists and the general public so much this campaign, so what exactly is so special about this edition of the programme?

It's just a waste of time and more of the same.

Err - I think a lot of people knew it was three consecutive interviews rather than a 3 way debate.

This was made quite clear when it was announced - though I think it is still a first (in recent years?) in having all three leaders involved in the same show, so I expect the "all three" aspect was the promotion worthy aspect.

Well you get to see how they react to the same audience I suppose (and vice-versa). And its live, so anything could happen (although in practice I think all that will mean is it looks a bit more disjointed than usual - not for any technical reasons, but simply that Dimbleby will struggle to keep the questions under control without people randomly changing the subject).

Interesting to see how going first/middle/last makes a difference if any.

Believe me, if they had all been on at the same time, it would have received far more promotion than it has.

I thought it was going to be a 3 way debate as well.. this is what most interested people would want to see.. oh well.. I'll watch 'supersize me' instead..

It was quite obvious that it would be 3 seperate sections as Blair has said on many occasion that he won't do an american style debate.

The order was also predictable, Blair was obviously going to be last. Howard's bit needs to be in people's memories when Blair comes on, so he has to be second, so stick Kennedy on first

Blair is also on "Ask the Leaders with Jonathan Dimbleby" for a full hour this Monday at 11pm on ITV1

It will fall back on them, as people who watch it tonight, will see that only one is on their, then they wont watch it again. Your title in the thread, I dont see the point of Question Time at all, and for that all other of these programmes, like Jonathan Dimbleby. They irritate the schedules, but at least you can say one thing, at least they are not repeats!

It got quite good at the end with people shouting out, it was almost like an edition of The Time The Place. Dimbleby could hardly control them tonight

Well there seemed to be a bit of a riot right at the end when some tossers in the front row started shouting and standing up.

I really dislike Tony B liar . He greets every question with that god-awful smirk and laugh.
