They did that after a couple of weeks (although some episodes have had the set in the previous arrangement showing that episodes aren't recorded in order of transmission).

I find that the new theme tune is far too slow for the pace of the show, and I miss the theme music between the rounds.

I just find the show completely unwatchable now - it's gone the route of the comedy panel show with the quiz element playing second fiddle and the show being based too much around the captains being idiot, and the structure of the show seems to get worse with each passing series. It's a real shame as just a few years ago (up until Ally McCoist left really) it was still very watchable, still very much a quiz, and still very entertaining.

See it? it's inside a building, at the rear. Unless he gets 'tickets' to watch it being recorded.

The time that it is broadcast has no correlation to the times that it is recorded.

The ones on screen at the moment were filmed in Studio 12 at Granada/3sixty.

The next batch are currently being recorded in Studio B at Mediacity:uk at Salford Quays.

Indeed, Studio-A at NBH has been a 4-waller for a number of years - in other words a space for filming and recording but without a gallery. It hasn't been a full production studio since the early-mid 2000s I think.

Yes, there was a week of Mark and Lard about ten years ago when their studio was out of action and there were no other spare radio studios so they stuck an old Radio One Roadshow desk in the middle of Studio A and they did it from there, and had races around it when the records were playing because it was so big. And on the webcam they had half the Question of Sport set up, which I think was the only show filmed there at the time (apart from A Question of Pop, natch).

I know the police station in Life on Mars was in Studio A, but you couldn't film a quiz there now because all the equipment's been removed. In the past few years QoS has alternated between Granada Studios and TV Centre, I think.
